Planning to go on a cruise?
Specific products are available to provide you with trip cancellation and interruption insurance if your travel plans include a cruise.
Did the state of your health change before making advance purchases for your trip?
The compensation that you are entitled to receive in the event of a trip cancellation, modification or interruption is directly related to the state of your health and by whether or not the incident leading to a claim was foreseeable.
In order to benefit from any eventual claim, you must not be aware of the issue or incident that leads to the claim at the time you pay your travel expenses, purchase your insurance policy or make an advance deposit.
If you have any concerns about a specific health condition, you can discuss it with one of our agents at 1 844 386-8448
When will you pay or make a deposit for your trip?
Some insurance companies require that the initial deposit for your trip be made at most seven to 15 days before purchasing your trip cancellation and interruption insurance. However, with other companies, the date that you pay for your trip is not taken into account.
Some insurers offer a special discount if you leave on your trip within seven days of booking it. Eureka Travel Insurance’s agents will evaluate your needs in order to recommend a suitable, affordable solution.
Do you need more comprehensive coverage?
Trip cancellation and interruption insurance doesn’t cover everything! Purchasing an all-inclusive package will protect you in the event of emergency medical expenses, baggage problems or accidental death.
* Please consult your insurance policy, paying particular attention to the provisions regarding eligibility and pre-existing health issues as well as any other exclusions, restrictions and conditions that apply to your coverage.
