Is it necessary to buy optional coverage for all sports and activities ?

Fortunately, many sports and activities are automatically covered by travel insurance policies for emergency medical expenses if they are regular sports and activities practiced under normal circumstances.

However, you should ensure that the activity or sport you intend to take part in is not excluded by your travel insurance policy.

Some activities are always excluded

Check your policy to ensure that the sport you practice is covered by the optional coverage you purchase. If it is not mentioned in the list of contact, adventure and extreme sports, it is possible that it is one of the exclusions.

Some insurers do not offer the possibility of additional coverage options and indicate the various sports and activities that are automatically excluded in the exclusions section of the policy.

A Eureka Travel Insurance agent will be able to advise you and ensure you can travel with peace of mind.

* Please consult your insurance policy, paying particular attention to the provisions regarding eligibility and pre-existing health issues as well as any other exclusions, restrictions and conditions that apply to your coverage. Certain exclusions and benefit reductions may apply, which vary from one insurance company to another.
